How the visit
works
One appointment, at your house, at a time you pick. Samples come out of the van, the rooms get measured, and nobody stands over you while you decide.

happen
You say roughly what you want
A room or two, a rough idea of the material, maybe a colour you keep coming back to. That is enough to load the van.
“If you have a general idea of what materials you would like, we can bring along samples for you to take a look at.”
The van comes to you
“Set up an appointment at your convenience and we will come to your location.”
You see the samples where the floor is actually going, next to your own walls and your own furniture, in your own light.
The rooms get measured
“We will measure your space to determine accurate material quantities and to eliminate waste. Measuring is free of charge!”
It happens on the same visit, so you are not booking a second appointment to find out how much floor you need.
Why it is done this way
A sample looks
different at home
Showroom lighting is not your lighting. A carpet that looks warm under a shop's fluorescents can go grey in a north-facing bedroom, and a plank that reads light on a rack can read orange against your cabinets. The sample has to come to the room.
The other half of it is that nobody is waiting for you to decide:

You keep the samples out
Look at them in the morning and again at night before you commit. The floor is going to be there a long time.
One person, start to finish
“John works with each customer from start to finish.” The person who measures your rooms is the person you called.
