1. Who these terms are with
This website is operated by Mobile Floor Coverings of 4050 Hammer Drive, Bellingham, WA 98226, telephone (360) 671-4693, email mobilefloors@gmail.com. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that business, and "you" means anyone using this website.
2. Acceptance
Using this site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. Calling us instead is always an option.
3. The site is informational
These pages describe what we sell, how a visit works and where we go. We try to keep everything on the site accurate and current, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or that every detail is up to date at the moment you read it. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance.
4. The form is a request, not an order
Sending the booking form asks us to get in touch about a visit. It does not book an appointment, order material, reserve stock, or commit either of us to anything. An appointment exists once John has spoken to you and the two of you have agreed a time.
5. Prices, availability and lead times
This site does not publish prices. What a floor costs depends on the material, the quantity, the condition of the subfloor and the work involved, which is why the measure happens first and is free of charge. Any figure we give you before we have measured is an estimate given in conversation, not a quoted price. Material availability and lead times are set by suppliers and can change.
6. A written agreement controls the work
If you hire us, the terms of that job are whatever is written in the paperwork you sign, together with anything agreed in writing afterwards. Where this website and that paperwork disagree, the paperwork wins. These terms cover the website; they do not describe the work.
7. Photographs
Photographs on this site show our own van, our own warehouse and showroom, and floors we have laid. They are there to show what the work looks like, not to promise that your job will look the same. Material varies batch to batch, natural products vary piece to piece, and light in your rooms is not the light in a photograph. That is the reason we bring samples to you rather than asking you to choose from a screen.
8. Intellectual property
The text, layout and code on this site are ours. The Mobile Floor Coverings name and logo are ours. You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own use, or to link to any page. Please do not copy the content onto another website, use our logo, or present our photographs as your own work.
9. Acceptable use
Please do not use this site to break the law, to send us anything abusive or deliberately false, to submit the form automatically or in bulk, to attempt to access parts of the site not meant to be public, or to interfere with how it works for anyone else.
10. Not professional advice
What you read here is general information about flooring. It is not an inspection, not a specification and not construction advice for your particular building. A subfloor, a moisture problem or a structural question needs somebody looking at it in person. Do not rely on a web page in place of that.
11. No warranties for the website
The website is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free or free of anything harmful, and we do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of its content. Any manufacturer warranty on material you buy, and any warranty on work we perform, is a separate matter set out in your paperwork and is not affected by this paragraph.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising out of your use of this website, including lost profit, lost data or lost time. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Links to other websites
We link to our Google listing, our Yelp listing, our Facebook page and Google Maps. Those are other people's sites. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement of anything else they carry.
14. Privacy
How we handle what you send is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about this website belongs in the state or federal courts serving Whatcom County, Washington, and both of us submit to those courts.
16. Severability and the whole agreement
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. Together with the Privacy Policy, these terms are the whole agreement between us about your use of this website.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. Carrying on using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
